Commemorating the Global Exclusive Release of Netflix Series 'Lookism'! LINE Manga Launches 20-Chapter Free Trial and Special Campaign

LINE Digital Frontier Corporation announced a promotional campaign on its digital comic service 'LINE Manga' to commemorate the global exclusive release of the Netflix series 'Lookism', a live-action adaptation of the original webtoon 'Lookism' (Story: PTJ cartoon company, Art: Kim Jung-hyun).

'Lookism' is a massively popular work that has surpassed 540 million views domestically and 2.28 billion views globally. It was selected as a 'Jury Recommended Work' in the manga category at the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival and was also adapted into a TV anime in 2024.

During the campaign period (through June 24th), chapters 1–20 of the original webtoon will be available for free. Additionally, the app is distributing gift tickets that allow users to read one chapter per ticket, as well as 50% OFF coupons applicable to individual chapters (up to 5 uses). Furthermore, a one-day-only mission event today offers manga coins to all participants who complete all designated missions.

Luxurious giveaway campaigns are being held on the official 'LINE Manga' X account. In the first phase (starting today), participants can win 10,000 yen worth of 'Eraberu Pay' or an original 'Lookism' goods set. In the second phase (starting June 13th), they can win 1,000 yen worth of 'Eraberu Pay' or an exclusive 'LINE Manga' original T-shirt.
