While this product adopts an integrated boot structure similar to traditional waders with attached boots, shortening the boot length achieves a weight reduction of approximately 400g compared to previous models.

Therefore, waders are required not only to be waterproof but also to be easy to handle when moving.

Traditional waders with integrated boots tend to be heavy on the feet due to the height and volume of the boot section, and their structure tends to restrict ankle movement.

As a result, there were situations where you felt a burden on your feet during actions like walking, crouching, and climbing.

What changes when the boot length is shortened?

DRESS has re-examined the boot section of the waders.

The "Active Fit R/F" maintains the integrated boot structure but features a shortened boot length.

By reducing the amount of rubber in the boot section, a weight reduction of approximately 400g compared to previous models has been achieved.

While 400g might not seem like a significant difference at first glance.

However, with waders, this weight is not on the tools you hold, but on your "feet" that you move with every step.

Lifting them with each step. Readjusting your footing on rocky ground. Continuing to walk on sandy beaches. Crouching and standing up. Stepping over obstacles.

Because these are actions repeated many times during a fishing trip, the difference in weight on your feet leads to a difference in the burden.
