If you have ever stood at a fishing spot in midsummer, you know the feeling. The moment the wind stops, your energy is drained in an instant. Fishing is a leisure activity, but the midsummer field is unforgiving. With temperatures exceeding 35°C, water surface glare, and no escape from direct sunlight, a loss of concentration affects not only your catch but also your safety. Yet, anglers stand there for that one cast, that one fish. The BURTLE x DRESS collaboration was born from facing this reality head-on. This is the first full-scale collaboration between the pinnacle of workwear, BURTLE, and the fishing gear brand, DRESS. BURTLE’s 'AIRCRAFT' series is known for high-output airflow technology and durable design cultivated in harsh work environments. We have fused BURTLE’s technology with DRESS’s design, adding essential features for fishing. The core of this collaboration is the 'AIRCRAFT' series. The 2026 new AC10 lithium-ion battery and AC10-1 fan unit achieve a maximum airflow of 120 liters per second (30V). It offers surprising long-term operation: 1 hour at 30V + approx. 5 hours at 23V (average 77L/sec), totaling about 6 hours. It features a high-back design that sends wind directly to the back, ensuring comfort even when wearing a waist-belt life jacket. With -8°C heat shielding, a cooling gel pocket, and a waterproof fan unit, it is designed for anglers. It also includes a DRESS original fishing hood that clips to your cap for stable vision during casting. The complete set (apparel, hood, battery, fan) is priced at 28,600 yen (tax included).
