Background of Participation in 'Techrum'

In recent years, the Japanese logistics industry has faced various challenges, including a severe shortage of labor (such as drivers), a decline in transport capacity due to the '2024 Problem,' rising logistics costs, and increasingly complex supply chains.
Under these circumstances, many companies operate logistics functions separately by business division or facility, leading to partial optimization of site placement, transport routes, and inventory allocation, often failing to achieve overall logistics efficiency and cost optimization. There is a growing need for new logistics mechanisms that go beyond individual company efforts, such as cross-industry data collaboration and shared logistics.
