Online Event: "Can Professor Tokumaru Detect Vulnerabilities in Vibe-Coded Services?"

Background

In recent years, 'vibe coding,' which involves generating and implementing code using AI from natural language instructions, has enabled even those without specialized knowledge to develop services. However, concerns about security risks have also rapidly increased. Yet, there are still not many cases where it is possible to reliably explain and address "what exactly is dangerous" or "what are the specific vulnerabilities of AI-generated code."

As AI is integrated into development and anyone can create services using AI, we believe there is a need for a platform to correctly understand the risks of AI-generated code and learn how to combine human expert perspectives with AI diagnostic tools. This led to the decision to hold this event.

Event Content

At this event, we will prepare a service built entirely with vibe coding, without any intentional vulnerabilities, and have Professor Tokumaru conduct a security diagnosis. The development and diagnosis will utilize a cutting-edge AI tool called "Claude Code." Professor Tokumaru will specifically demonstrate and explain "the dangerous points of services created by AI," "how far AI diagnostics alone can detect vulnerabilities," and "what aspects human experts should complement."

While the demonstration part is pre-recorded, there will be a Q&A session with Professor Tokumaru on the day of the event, allowing attendees to directly ask questions and receive answers and explanations from him.

What you will gain from this event:

For Engineers: Specific vulnerability patterns hidden in AI-generated code, the thought process during expert security checks, and the limitations of AI diagnostics.

For PdMs and Non-Engineers: Concrete examples and impact of risks that AI-built services may carry, and key points for consulting with engineers.

Additionally, among those who attend the event and complete the questionnaire, three lucky participants will receive a signed copy of Professor Tokumaru's book, "Systematic Learning: How to Build Secure Web Applications, 2nd Edition" (commonly known as the Tokumaru Book).
