Chitta La Cittadella (Operated by: Chitta Entertainment Co., Ltd. / President and CEO: Alessandro Misui), a complex commercial facility in front of Kawasaki Station, will hold the 23rd "Haisai FESTA 2026", the largest Okinawa festival in the Tokyo metropolitan area, for five days from Saturday, May 2, 2026, to Wednesday, May 6, 2026 (holiday).

Since its inception in 2004, this event has delivered the passion of Okinawa to the city as a place where visitors can experience "authentic Okinawan culture" with all five senses in Kawasaki, a city with deep ties to Okinawa. Many people may be feeling hesitant about traveling or going on long trips due to recent price hikes. Without the cost and time of travel, we will offer an authentic Okinawan experience that is most accessible in the Tokyo metropolitan area, featuring over 100 food stalls, traditional Eisa performances, and music festivals.

For its 23rd iteration, we have updated the venue layout, including the addition of a new stage at the Le Fron venue, to allow even more people to feel the excitement firsthand. We will deliver five special days where the entire city will be enveloped in Okinawa.

[Scale Expansion] This year, the event will be held for five days and will feature a newly established stage (Kawasaki Le Fron 1F Event Space), making it five days where you can be fully immersed in Okinawa no matter where you are in the city.

[Food Festival] Over 100 stores will gather! Featuring 29 stores from Okinawa and 28 stores making their Haisai FESTA debut, we invite you to "Usagami Sōre!" (Please enjoy!) the flavors directly from the main island of Okinawa, as well as from the four remote islands of Ishigaki, Miyako, Kume, and Tarama.

[Culture and Bonds] A variety of Okinawan music live performances and traditional Eisa dances performed at each venue. The pulse that resonates throughout the city heightens the festive atmosphere. Kawasaki City and Naha City will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their sister city affiliation.

Over 100 stores from the main island to the remote islands will be present.

In addition to authentic "Okinawan Soba", where you can savor the unique dashi of each region, this year features an abundance of rare specialty products from each island. Enjoy exquisite dishes utilizing the blessings of the islands, such as Kume Island's "Kuruma Ebi" (Japanese tiger prawn), carefully cultivated in deep ocean water, and Ishigaki Island's pineapples, which are said to reach a sugar content of 20 degrees, far exceeding that of regular pineapples, all offered by over 100 stores.
