[Design Concept]
Starting from the motif of the two leaves (camphor tree leaf and chinquapin leaf) and the circular form of the university's emblem, it symbolically expresses the university's unique duality, such as "industry and academia" and "sensibility and practical skills," and the strong bonds among the people involved.
The design was created by Mr. Keizo Suenaga, Representative Director / Creative Designer of Branders Inc. (Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture), who is well-versed in corporate branding and has handled numerous symbol designs and branding projects for leading Japanese companies.

Since 1984, he has been involved in brand development from both business company and consulting perspectives at Japan Design Center, Landor, Interbrand, etc. He has led various domestic and international projects for companies such as Daiwa House Group, Nikon, and Bridgestone, and established Branders Inc. in 2020. He consistently handles everything from strategy formulation to creative production and direction, and is currently involved in corporate/product brand building for a wide range of industries.
With the new brand mark, the university will further improve education and research and promote social contribution, in collaboration with local communities and industries, by refining the brand message: "Sensibility to envision the next era, practical skills to move the world."
