"Okazaki Stardust Cinema with KIDS Banpaku" - Free Spring Open-Air Cinema Appears at Kyoto Okazaki Park for 5 Days of Golden Week

The General Incorporated Association for Culture, Arts, and Sports Promotion will host the free open-air cinema event "Okazaki Hoshifuru Eigakan with KIDS Banpaku" as a special project within KIDS Banpaku 2026. It will be held from Friday, May 1st to Tuesday (public holiday), May 5th, 2026, at the lawn area of Okazaki Park in Kyoto. This event is a limited-time open-air cinema where visitors can enjoy movies under the spring night sky on the lawn while also indulging in gyoza, drinks, and alcoholic beverages from the concurrently held "Kyoto Gyoza Daisakusen 2026." By fusing a food festival with movie screenings, the event offers an experience where visitors can "taste and enjoy" in addition to "watching."
