Kyoritsu Women's University and Junior College (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will sequentially open preparation courses for the national "IT Passport" examination from July, through "Kyoritsu Academy," which operates extracurricular courses, with the aim of supporting the career development of its enrolled students. In recent years, as DX (Digital Transformation) progresses in all industries, the acquisition of basic IT knowledge has become indispensable for both humanities and science students. In this program, the university will fully subsidize the course fees and examination fees (totaling approximately 30,000 yen). By eliminating financial hurdles, the university aims to enhance students' fundamental professional abilities and employment competitiveness.

1. Purpose of Implementation Currently, many companies recommend new employees to acquire the "IT Passport," and it has become one of the evaluation criteria in job hunting. The university has decided on a support measure to fully subsidize the costs, enabling students to acquire reliable skills as a weapon during their enrollment and confidently leap into society.

2. Two Course Options Tailored to Students' Lifestyles To allow students to flexibly choose according to their individual lifestyles and learning rhythms, two courses, [On-demand Course] and [In-person Course], have been prepared. From July onwards, an environment will be set up to allow concentrated study, utilizing periods such as summer vacation, aiming to improve IT literacy across all faculties, regardless of whether students are from humanities or science backgrounds.
