"Super Crazy Stage☆Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo ~Karma! Nose Hair! Decisive Battle!" opened at Theater G Rosso on June 12, 2026 (Friday).
"Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo" is a legendary absurd gag battle manga by Keisuke Sawai. It was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2001 to 2007, with a total of 28 volumes and a cumulative circulation of over 7 million copies. It was animated in 2003 and also adapted into games and other media, celebrating its 20th anniversary of serialization in 2021 and its 20th anniversary of anime broadcast in November 2023.
The previous work, which was staged in October 2024, "Super Crazy Stage☆Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo" (nicknamed BoboSte), caused a big sensation by rushing through all 21 volumes of the original work in about two hours. A year has passed since then... BoboSte has returned, powered up!
This completely new work uses powerful wire action and trap devices to run wild through a three-layered stage structure 7.5 meters high, depicting its bizarre world in three dimensions.
Following the previous work, which rushed through all 21 volumes at once as a "preview," the story opens with the preface that "this is the "main story." The story depicted in this work is about five volumes. Although it is four times in terms of numbers, it feels like its square in terms of sensation, and it is as packed as ever.
Featuring a giant Bobobo face and Afro set, nose holes appearing from both sides, and a slide show before the performance, this work inherits the essence of the previous BoboSte, while the cast's wildness, having experienced a complete run, has added depth and sharpness. The stability of Bobobo (Masa Katou) and Tokoro Tenjou no Suke (Usagi/Long Coat Daddy), the outstanding comedic timing of Beauty (Haruka Kudo) and Heppo Maru (Yuta Higuchi). The members who know BoboSte have created their own unique soil, and the new cast member Chief Patch (Kanau Uchi) fits in surprisingly well without any discomfort. The new appearance of Gunkan (Osamu Narimatsu) and Bobobo's fierce battle, and the cute and touching performance of Suzu (Miyu Kishi) also add to the appeal of this "main story." Softon appears only as a voice actor by Junya Komatsu, but an ensemble body also appears. As one of the main characters, please do not miss Komatsu's singing voice.
The biggest attraction of this work is the three-dimensional performance that makes full use of the height of Theater G Rosso. Of course, it is used for action, but there is no other work that converts this height into laughter. Please pay attention to how and in what form everyone will fly. The trap performances are also diverse. From the second stage set, it seems that everyone is flying one after another, and the trap fall from the upper stage is as impressive as a hero show. While laughing at the gags unfolding in front of you, the momentary tension of the trap fall adds spice, creating a unique rhythm of laughter that is unique to this work.
This is a work that you should throw yourself into and enjoy with your whole body. Please experience this stage, which you can feel with your body rather than with logic, at the theater.
