Seventh Vega and LAUSBUB Announced for WORLD HAPPINESS 2026 ~ I'm HOME ~

It has been announced that Seventh Vega, a Tokyo-based 4-piece city rock band, and LAUSBUB, a new-wave techno-pop band from Hokkaido, will perform at 'WORLD HAPPINESS 2026 ~ I'm HOME ~', taking place at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium First Gymnasium in Tokyo on Sunday, June 28. Seventh Vega, led by Gt./Vo. Kanna Shibuya, was formed in 2023. They have been active in the live scene, releasing their first full album 'PRINCESS' in 2025. In 2026, they sold out solo concerts at Daikanyama UNIT and Osaka 2nd LINE, rapidly gaining prominence. Their upcoming Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka solo tour in August is also sold out, marking them as an up-and-coming band to watch. LAUSBUB, formed by Rico and Mei while they were members of the same high school light music club in Sapporo, Hokkaido, gained widespread attention after posting music on X (formerly Twitter). Their tracks topped global weekly charts on SoundCloud. Following the 2024 release of their 1st album 'ROMP', they have been garnering significant domestic and international attention this year, including selection for Spotify's 'RADAR: Early Noise 2026' and being featured in the 2026 Mode Gakuen TV commercial. WORLD HAPPINESS, revived after 9 years, was launched by Yukihiro Takahashi as a 'counter-movement to the festival bubble'. It has long been cherished by many music fans as a space where diverse music intersects naturally across generations and genres.
