Performing at the New National Theatre, Tokyo in September 2026!!
'School Idol Musical' is not a musical adaptation of previous 'Love Live! Series' works, but an entirely original story. With newly written songs for this production, it is a youth school drama centered around ten girls realizing their dreams, featuring a lineup of fresh new talent and experienced veteran performers. It embodies the radiant and struggling figures of high school girls striving to fulfill their dreams, and has received so much positive acclaim that additional performances have been added repeatedly. Furthermore, due to its high evaluation, a live-action drama based on this musical was produced and broadcast in 2024.
Key Checkpoints for the 2026 Performance!
This performance will be staged at the New National Theatre, Tokyo. It will utilize the revolving stage, a feature not used since its premiere at the same theater, allowing audiences to enjoy a youth school musical with ten girls fulfilling their dreams, complete with powerful stage sets and direction.
Additionally, the highly popular 'Cultural Festival & After-Party Special Performance' will also be held this time.
The 'Cultural Festival & After-Party Special Performance' is an expanded 'after-party' portion of the main performance's 'curtain call special stage' as a 'Cultural Festival Special Stage.' It includes songs unique to this performance, where audiences can enjoy singing and dancing by the cast.
Furthermore, for both the 'Main Performance's Curtain Call Special Stage' and the 'Cultural Festival & After-Party Special Performance,' audience members can join in the excitement from their seats using penlights. There will also be sales of 'Main Performance & After-Party Performance Set Tickets.' The set tickets offer a 500 yen discount, making them an ideal choice for enjoying both the main performance and the after-party performance on the same day.
And for the final performance on September 26 (Sat), final day tickets will be released, allowing continuous viewing of the main performance and the Cultural Festival & After-Party Special Performance. A novelty postcard will be distributed exclusively for the final performance, so please come and witness the girls' 'now' until the very end.
