Steve Jansen, former Japan drummer, confirmed to join World Happiness! Part of the highly anticipated "SP YT session" also revealed!

Steve Jansen, former drummer of Japan, has been announced as a guest for World Happiness (WORLD HAPPINESS), which will be held on June 28th (Sunday) at the First Gymnasium of Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. After Japan disbanded, Steve Jansen released the single "STAY CLOSE (1986)" with Yukihiro Takahashi. He has a deep friendship with Yukihiro Takahashi, even participating as a support member in tours. He previously appeared at World Happiness in 2016 as a guest on the METAFIVE stage, playing drums for the encore song "Kimi ni, Munekyun." He also participated in "Yukihiro Takahashi 50th Anniversary Live LOVE TOGETHER Ai Koso Subete" held at NHK Hall in Tokyo in September 2022. Steve Jansen is scheduled to appear in the "SP YT session." The highlight of this year's World Happiness, revived in Tokyo's summer after nine years, is the "SP YT session." This project brings together six musicians deeply connected to YT, or Yukihiro Takahashi, the founder and curator of all World Happiness performances, who have supported him for a long time.
