On April 6, 2026, a press conference was held for "MANGALOGUE: Phoenix," a new era live performance, at "Box1000," a theater space within "MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives" (hereinafter referred to as "MoN Takanawa"), an experimental museum of culture, which opened in the new landmark TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, directly connected to JP Takanawa Gateway Station.

"MANGALOGUE" is an experiential live performance where "Manga," originally read by one person, is projected onto a giant screen, allowing a large audience to enjoy it collectively with dialogue from voice actors, music, and lighting. It proposes a new way to enjoy "Manga culture," distinct from movies or theater.

While a celebrity known as a "MANGALOGUER" participates live each time as a guide, on this day, Mai Shinuchi, formerly of Nogizaka46, made an appearance. She read stage directions written on panels of Osamu Tezuka's masterpiece "Phoenix: Future Chapter," projected onto the large front screen, and demonstrated reading the manga while conversing with a robotic arm named "Tetsuwan Arm," which tracks the audience's gaze. Shinuchi, who commented, "This is my first time co-starring with a robot," said, "It's strange that we can communicate properly. I was worried because it seemed a bit temperamental before the show, but it went well." The role of turning the pages is played by a man named "Takahashi-san." He livens up the stage with the "MANGALOGUER" and "Tetsuwan Arm" through his unique performance.
