Blue Man Group 2026 Shinjuku Performance to Offer Free Invitations to 6-18 Year Olds, Adopted as Agency for Cultural Affairs Support Project

The "Blue Man Group 2026 Shinjuku Performance," scheduled for August 2026, has been adopted as a target performance for the "Support Project for Children's Cultural and Artistic Activities" by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.

Consequently, children aged 6 to 18 will be invited free of charge.

"Blue Man Group" is a non-verbal live entertainment that originated in New York in 1991, having attracted over 50 million people worldwide to date. Its stage, which unfolds through sound, art, and physical expression without words, is supported globally as a work that can be enjoyed regardless of nationality or generation.

This initiative aims to create opportunities for children to experience authentic performing arts at theaters and concert halls, foster their rich sensibilities, and nurture future cultural and artistic leaders and audiences. This project is implemented with the support of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. We hope that as many children as possible will experience a "real stage" on this valuable occasion and realize the charm of performing arts. Please note that to invite many children through this system, accompanying guests will be charged the regular price.

* Children under 5 years old are not permitted to enter (on the day of the performance).
* Accompanying persons will be charged the regular fee, but reservations/purchases can be made together with "child invitation."
* To improve viewing manners at the venue, applications from elementary and junior high school students alone are not permitted. An adult aged 18 or over must accompany them.
* Convenience store ticketing may incur separate ticketing fees.
* Please bring identification documents for age verification on the day of the performance.
