(Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture / Representative Director and President: Eita Omatsu) will exhibit a booth at 'Junkan Fes Nagoya' to be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Edion Hisaya Hiroba (Naka-ku, Nagoya City).

Junkan Fes is an event aimed at spreading new 'circulation' mechanisms with the next generation, promoting the importance of resource circulation through used clothing collection and reuse. At the venue, the 'RELEASE⇔CATCH' resource circulation system, which collects unwanted clothing and connects it to reuse and recycling, will be implemented. In addition, various programs will be held, including the popular '¥0Market' where visitors can take home their favorite items from collected used clothes for free, as well as workshops, exhibitions, talk events, and food markets where visitors can experience reuse and recycling firsthand. The event aims to provide an opportunity for visitors to enjoy thinking about environmentally friendly lifestyles and to realize a society where resources are used carefully and continuously. Admission is free and open to everyone.

Kawada Feather, as a member of the executive committee, will hold an exhibition on circulation and collect down futons and used clothing. At the down product collection booth, those who cooperate with the collection of unwanted items will receive a 'Plus One Pass,' a special benefit allowing them to receive one additional item of used clothing at the '¥0Market'. Furthermore, the distribution of company-made novelty goods is also planned.

To preserve high-quality down for the next generation, our company cooperates with local governments, stores, and organizations nationwide to collect and recycle unwanted down products. The collected down futons are disassembled at our own factory in Mie Prefecture, refined into high-quality recycled down through our unique recovery process, and supplied to apparel brands both domestically and internationally.

All down futons collected at Junkan Fes Nagoya will be responsibly transformed into high-quality recycled down by our company.

Junkan Fes is an event aimed at spreading new 'circulation' mechanisms with the next generation, focusing on themes such as reuse and recycling. It started in Kyoto in 2022, with diverse participants including visitors primarily from Generation Z, reuse-related businesses, local governments, and educational institutions.

At the venue, various activities are held, including the '¥0Market' where visitors can take home their favorite items from collected used clothes for free, as well as clothing and unwanted item collection, workshops on reuse and recycling, exhibitions, talk events, and food markets, allowing visitors to learn about resource circulation while having fun.

Over 10,000 people have attended each previous event, drawing attention as an event where people can experience a circular lifestyle firsthand. This will be the third time it is held in Nagoya.

■ What is RELEASE⇔CATCH?

RELEASE⇔CATCH is a resource circulation system aimed at collecting unwanted clothing and reconnecting it with those who need it.

Collected clothing is utilized for reuse and recycling, contributing to waste reduction and effective resource utilization. At Junkan Fes, RELEASE⇔CATCH collection boxes will be set up at the venue to collect used clothing from visitors. Additionally, a portion of the collected used clothing will be recirculated through the '¥0Market' project, where visitors can take items home for free, allowing them to experience the resource circulation system.

By connecting RELEASE (letting go) and CATCH (receiving), the aim is to promote a circular lifestyle where items are used carefully and continuously.
