Kudan to Exhibit at CSPI-EXPO 2026, Showcasing Latest 3D Scanning Solutions Including XGRIDS' New Product 'Lixel K2'

At this exhibition, Kudan will showcase the latest 3D scanning solutions, including the new product "Lixel K2" from XGRIDS, as well as "Kudan PRISM," a spatial data operation platform leveraging 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and spatial perception technology. We will introduce a comprehensive workflow supporting digitalization in construction and surveying sites—from spatial data acquisition and 3DGS data conversion to practical applications such as construction progress management, facility management, inspection, and maintenance.

In the construction and surveying industries, digitalization is rapidly advancing due to labor shortages, aging infrastructure, and demands for improved productivity. However, a new challenge has emerged: how to effectively connect acquired and generated spatial data to tangible business value—such as progress tracking, site documentation, information sharing among stakeholders, infrastructure maintenance, facility management, and inspection.

The new XGRIDS product, "Lixel K2," is a handheld 3D scanner featuring a lightweight, compact body of approximately 1.2 kg, equipped with 360-degree LiDAR, multiple cameras, and RTK positioning. It enables efficient acquisition of high-density spatial data with centimeter-level relative accuracy, and allows real-time viewing of color point clouds during measurement. From a single scan, it can generate multiple 3D data formats—such as point clouds, 3D meshes, and photorealistic 3DGS—suitable for various applications like measurement and design. This enables intuitive and detailed understanding of site conditions across a wide range of construction and surveying tasks, including as-built surveys, construction records, progress verification, and equipment inspections.

Kudan PRISM not only displays and visualizes high-fidelity point clouds and photorealistic 3DGS environments smoothly and efficiently but also leverages spatial perception technology and AI to connect spatial data directly to business processes—such as progress verification and comparison, site documentation, extraction and registration of equipment and asset information, inspection and maintenance management, and information sharing among stakeholders.

This allows scan data to evolve beyond temporary measurement results or records into continuously updated and utilized digital twins. By integrating spatial data into operational decision-making and field operations, Kudan PRISM supports improved efficiency, faster information sharing, enhanced decision-making, and increased value of data assets.

At the exhibition, we will also present use cases of 3DGS in facility management, inspection, and maintenance, as well as integration with various spatial measurement data such as Mobile Mapping Systems (MMS), deployment into simulation environments, and future applications in robotics, showcasing the potential for advanced spatial data utilization.
