Kyoto Research Park Corporation (President and CEO Mitsuo Asano, hereinafter KRP) will host the "Adult Clothes and Children's Clothes! Popular Used Clothing ¥0 Market" by Release Catch starting July 25, 2026, as part of the "KRP Fest 2026".
KRP will hold "KRP Fest 2026" over two days, July 24 (Fri.) and 25 (Sat.). Under the themes of "Technology," "Town," and "People," approximately 25 diverse events will be held concurrently, including programs to promote exchange among researchers and engineers from companies and institutions located in the KRP district, events for entrepreneurs and startups, and projects to enjoy art and culture.
About the Event The "¥0 Market" is a sustainable event where you can experience clothing circulation. Approximately 1,500 items of used clothing displayed at the venue were all donated to the used clothing collection boxes of "Release Catch" installed in Kyoto City. The collected clothing is carefully sorted one by one to be passed on to the next wearer.
On the day, a wide selection of adult and children's clothing will be available, and anyone can take home their favorite items for free, "up to 3 items per person." We will expand the circle of circulation by returning clothing collected from the local community back to the community, allowing people to experience reuse while having fun.

About Release Catch Release Catch is a community-based clothing circulation project that allows people to let go of clothes they no longer wear (RELEASE) and for someone else to welcome them as their favorite item again (CATCH). It started in 2022 as a public-private co-creation project involving Human Forum Inc., Community Bank Kyoshin, JSB Corporation, Yasuda Sangyo Co., Ltd., and the City of Kyoto.
We collect used clothing from citizens through dedicated boxes installed in the city, and carefully sort them. We then provide them free of charge to the next person through events like the "¥0 Market," or utilize them as new resources. Through a system that circulates clothing within the region, we aim to realize a sustainable circular society.
