KRAFTON Inc. (CEO Kim Chang-han) announced its Q1 2026 business results on Thursday, April 30.

Based on consolidated financial statements applying Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), KRAFTON recorded revenue of 1.3714 trillion KRW and operating profit of 561.6 billion KRW in Q1 2026. Revenue increased by 56.9% year-on-year, and operating profit increased by 22.8% year-on-year, both marking record highs on a quarterly basis.

Key Performance Highlights for Q1 2026 and Direction of PUBG IP Franchise Business

Quarterly revenue by business segment is as follows:

・PC: 363.9 billion KRW

・Mobile: 702.7 billion KRW

・Console: 13.8 billion KRW

・Other: 291.0 billion KRW

● "PUBG IP Franchise" revenue increased by 24% year-on-year, surpassing 1 trillion KRW in quarterly sales, driving KRAFTON's record-high performance. On the PC platform, the introduction of new content and enhanced live service operations for 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS' boosted revenue growth. To commemorate the game's 9th anniversary, a collaboration with British luxury car manufacturer "Aston Martin" was implemented, featuring the first vehicle resale event for the PC version. This collaboration event recorded sales exceeding the initial launch in 2023, reaffirming high player demand.

On the mobile platform, premium content and IP collaborations contributed to record quarterly sales. A collaboration with German sports car brand "Apollo Automobil" garnered strong support from high-spending players. Additionally, 'BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA' (hereinafter 'BGMI') improved player accessibility through increased server capacity and content expansion, leading to a 17% year-on-year increase in paying users. Furthermore, the official league tournament for 'BGMI', "BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES 2026 (BGIS 2026)", recorded the highest viewership ever, once again demonstrating the title's presence in India.

The 'PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS' IP continues to evolve into a content platform that accumulates diverse game content and play experiences, based on a strong fanbase and competitive live services. In April, a new game mode "Xeno Point" was introduced, expanding user traffic through new gameplay beyond the battle royale genre. In May, a cooperative mode in collaboration with another FPS game "PAYDAY" IP is scheduled for release, and further expansion of additional modes and UGC (User Generated Content) will continue.

KRAFTON aims to further accelerate the growth of the "PUBG IP Franchise" by strengthening its presence in emerging markets and enhancing marketing for its global fanbase.

● "Other revenue" by business segment increased by 285.9 billion KRW year-on-year, mainly due to the consolidated performance of the ADK Group.

Other Business Strategies

'inZOI', a next-generation life simulation game that began early access distribution in March 2025, is undergoing scale-up to grow into an IP with a long product lifecycle (PLC). Moving forward, KRAFTON plans to expand its player base through console deployment in addition to enhancing the experience through content improvements. The company also plans to provide AI script-based modding tools to make content creation easier for players. Furthermore, by adding multiplayer functionality to enable sharing of user-generated content and cooperative play, KRAFTON aims to evolve it into a platform-based IP.

'Subnautica 2', an open-world survival crafting game, is scheduled for early access release in May. New content, including a Co-op mode, will offer new experiences to existing series fans and new players.

KRAFTON will continue to promote its "AI for Game" initiative, aiming to realize differentiated gaming experiences through AI. The four multimodal AI models 'Raon' unveiled in April will be optimized for each title, creating new play experiences tailored to game characteristics. Additionally, "PUBG Ally", a co-playable character utilizing AI technology, is planned for release within this year for 'PUBG: BAT
