A DINNER BUFFET featuring colorful ingredients nurtured by the Okinawan sun and nature is now available. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu hot pot using "Chagu," a rare brand of Agu pork with a rich sweetness and umami, sourced whole. You can choose from two types of broth: the "Fragrant Golden Broth" and the summer-limited "Yanbaru Summer Vegetable Umami & Bonito Curry Broth." Enjoy a buffet-style selection of local ingredients, island vegetables, and condiments to your heart's content. The dinner fair also includes summer delicacies such as tender churrasco roast, slow-cooked and carved before your eyes, Okinawan tuna teppanyaki steak, Okinawan island octopus, and Orion beer tempura of mozuku seaweed, along with a variety of cold dishes, hot dishes, and desserts.

The Agu pork shabu-shabu hot pot comes with two types of broth, various sauces, and aromatic condiments. The broths offered are the classic "Fragrant Golden Broth" made with kelp and bonito flakes, and the summer-limited "Yanbaru Summer Vegetable Umami & Bonito Curry Broth."

Enjoy the broths as they are, or change the flavor to your liking with two types of sauces: Shikuwasa Ponzu and Sesame Sauce, and various condiments such as grated ginger, lemon, and doubanjiang.

Enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth sweetness and rich flavor of Agu pork, along with ingredients like Nakijin Village-produced eryngii mushrooms, Okinawa-produced wood ear mushrooms, and handama, to your heart's content.

Churrasco is also all-you-can-eat

The popular churrasco roast at "RYUKYU YANBARU DINING SESSION" has a moist and juicy texture, with a rich, condensed flavor of the fat. The pork is marinated overnight in a special sauce, then seared to lock in the juices, and slow-cooked at a low temperature until tender. Enjoy it with Japanese-style garlic sauce or sauce gribiche.

Agu Brand Pork "Chagu" - A Special Brand Pork Raised in Nago City, Okinawa

"Agu Pork," a specialty of Okinawa, is now an essential part of any Okinawan trip. This fair features "Chagu," an Agu brand pork raised in Nago City.

About 40 years ago, a project began at Hokubu Nōrin High School in Nago City to revive the Ryukyu native Agu pig, which was on the verge of extinction. The restoration of the purebred Agu pig was successful in 1993. Furthermore, to preserve and utilize the breed, and to expand its commercial use, the Ryukyu native Agu pig was crossbred with the American Duroc breed, resulting in "Chagu," which has high reproductive capacity, high growth rate, and excellent meat quality. (Trademark registered as "Chagu" in 2006.) "Chagu" is an Agu brand pork that inherits the "Agu-ness" through long-term crossbreeding with the Duroc breed, based on the restored Ryukyu native Agu pig.
