The Koyu Foundation (Shintomi Town, Miyazaki Prefecture; hereinafter 'Koyu Foundation') is pleased to announce the second 'Shintomi Town, Miyazaki Food Letter' special one-day event, to be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at La Dish Ohashi (Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture).

Following the success of the first event, we are returning to La Dish Ohashi, a store based on the concept of 'products that make you healthier as you eat them,' known for its handmade deli items, fresh-baked bread, wine, and meat. This time, primary producers and food-related business owners from Shintomi Town will be on-site to offer tastings, demonstrations, and direct sales of their carefully crafted products. It is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the producers about their passion and dedication while purchasing fresh items that are not usually available.
■ Event Overview

Content: Direct sales, tastings, and product explanations by businesses from Shintomi Town, Miyazaki.
■ Background and Vision

Shintomi Town is a region with a thriving primary industry, including livestock and agriculture, and is actively developing unique products that leverage local resources. The 'Food Letter' project was created not just as a sales event, but as a platform to communicate 'who makes it, with what passion, and in what environment.'
By having the producers themselves stand at the storefront, we aim to foster dialogue through products and bring deeper value and stories to everyday dining tables.
■ Objectives
The goal is to promote the charm and resources of Shintomi Town, increase brand awareness for local businesses, and expand sales channels and customer bases. Furthermore, by holding this event regularly, we aim to deepen relationships and encourage collaboration among businesses, leading to new challenges and initiatives within Shintomi Town.
