Avex Short Film Starring Akari Takaishi Completes Filming entirely in Shintomi, Miyazaki

The Koyu Regional Development Promotion Organization (Location: Shintomi-cho, Koyu-gun, Miyazaki Prefecture; Representative Director: Keiji Okamoto; hereinafter "Koyu Foundation") is pleased to announce that a short film starring Miyazaki-native actress Akari Takaishi has been filmed in Shintomi and information has been released. The lead actress, Akari Takaishi, and the scriptwriter/director, Ei Yamamoto. ■ Announcement at the Koyu Foundation's "Shintomi Spring Arts Festival" Akari Takaishi appeared at a talk show during the "Shintomi Spring Arts Festival" held in Shintomi on Saturday, May 16, 2026. At this event, Avex Management Agency Inc. (hereinafter "Avex"), the agency to which Ms. Takaishi belongs, officially announced this project. Avex has initiated a short film project produced by a talent manager as part of its "ACTORS STAND vol.2" project, which features its affiliated actors. For this third installment, Akari Takaishi is the lead, and Ei Yamamoto, who directed the movie "Atsu no Ato ni" (After the Heat), is serving as the scriptwriter and director. With the full backing of Shintomi Town, filming has already wrapped.
