Kousoku Offset Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nishi-ku, Osaka; Representative: Satoshi Shimada; hereinafter, Kousoku Offset) will jointly exhibit with Hibiya-Kadan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroaki Miyajima) and its western Japan branch, “Hibiya-Kadan OSAKA LABO,” at the 41st Suita Industry Fair, to be held on May 23 and 24, 2026. At the booth, the companies will host “Hanging Flower,” a flower art workshop combining seasonal fresh flowers with flower-shaped paper made from “Flower Paper” and “Banana Paper,” along with product sales. Background of the joint exhibition Kousoku Offset began handling “Flower Paper,” a paper born in Suita, Osaka, in March 2026. The paper is made using tulips that were used in “Osaka Flower Carpet,” an event held in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture. Kousoku Offset also operates “KAMIKEN,” a project that creates opportunities to encounter discarded materials through paper, and regularly holds workshops using sustainable papers created from diverse social backgrounds. Hibiya-Kadan operates its western Japan branch, “Hibiya-Kadan OSAKA LABO” (5-9-15 Minami-Suita, Suita City, 1F・2F), near JR Esaka Station, and regularly hosts flower markets. Through flowers, the company creates opportunities for interaction with local residents and brings rich color to the city of Suita. “Hanging Flower for you”: a flower art workshop using selected fresh flowers and sustainable paper This workshop lets participants choose fresh flowers and paper flowers to create their own flower artwork. By combining the unique qualities of fresh flowers, such as “fresh blooms that can only be encountered in that season,” with what only paper can express, such as “out-of-season and colorful flowers,” participants can create a one-of-a-kind artwork. The back side can be used to write a message, making it ideal as a small gift or as a way to express gratitude on an ordinary day. Choosing flowers while thinking of the person who will receive them is part of the enjoyment. The workshop is also recommended for families, friends, and couples to make pieces together and exchange them. Words and feelings that may be difficult to say in everyday life can become a beautiful gift when entrusted to flowers. The organizers hope this will become an opportunity in the city of Suita for people’s feelings to connect through flowers and for the community to be filled with color. Duration: From 15 minutes Fee: 500 yen per session, tax included *Participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If crowded, same-day reservations or numbered tickets may be used. The workshop will end once kits run out. In addition to the workshop, the booth will also sell fresh flowers and banana paper stickers. Visitors are welcome to stop by casually.
