Social Welfare Corporation Koujukai (Azalee Group) will newly open the multifunctional facility "Azalee Kids Lab - Child Development Support/Visiting Support for Childcare Facilities" at "A-Cube," a community co-existence complex facility operated in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, starting April 1, 2026.

This integration will bring together six functions within the same facility: elderly day care, co-existence type life support, a licensed nursery school, a corporate-led nursery school, a Tokyo-certified after-school club, and child development support, aiming to realize a "community co-existence society" that transcends generations and disabilities.

What is A-Cube? A-Cube is a complex facility that integrates multiple generations and functions, serving as a hub for community co-existence promoted by the Azalee Group. Representative's Comment

Kouji Kurusu, Representative of Azalee Group

This facility, "A-Cube," has been developed with the aim of realizing "community co-existence" where everyone can spend time interacting naturally in the same space, regardless of age or disability. The newly opened "Azalee Kids Lab" will be a place that supports the unique growth of each child with developmental characteristics while also serving as a hub that creates broader social connections by linking with diverse functions such as childcare, after-school care, elderly care, and disability welfare. We believe that a society where people mutually influence each other, going beyond the relationship of "supporters and the supported," is the way forward for our communities. Through A-Cube, we will continue to work towards creating communities where multiple generations interact and co-existence naturally develops in daily life.

Future Outlook The Azalee Group will further promote initiatives towards the realization of a community co-existence society, using A-Cube as a model case. Going forward, we will contribute to building communities where everyone can live with peace of mind through: * Strengthening collaboration with the community * Enhancing support through multidisciplinary collaboration * Expanding co-existence type services.
