## ■ Background: Lack of 'Judgment Criteria' and Confusion in the Field During 5-Year-Old Health Checkups
In recent years, 'unclear pronunciation' has been included as one of the medical interview items in the '5-year-old health checkups' increasingly introduced by municipalities. However, there are few clear judgment criteria regarding the pronunciation of 5-year-olds in the field. We have received many earnest voices from professionals in charge of evaluation, saying, 'We are at a loss to judge whether it is age-appropriate or if support is needed.'
Given this current situation, our organization developed this tool with the desire to prevent delays in discovering pronunciation difficulties and disorders, and to reduce the number of children who suffer as much as possible.
## ■ Production Process: Fusing Field Needs and Expert Knowledge
In creating this tool, we placed a strong emphasis on the production process to enhance its practicality in the field.
Preliminary Questionnaire: We conducted a questionnaire survey among professionals involved in child development, such as speech therapists and nursery teachers, to extract the needs of the support field.
Hearing and Improvement: We conducted interviews with public health nurses involved in health checkups and board members of the Japanese Association of Speech-Language-Hearing Therapists, and thoroughly brushed up the content.
Expert Supervision: After final expert supervision, it was released as a highly reliable document.
## ■ Achieved 230% of the Goal Through Crowdfunding
In the crowdfunding conducted to carry out this project, approximately 700 people visited the project page during the period, and we received warm support from 92 people. As a result, the support we received reached approximately 230% of the target amount, and the project was successfully established.
