◆ Event Day Scene

Approximately 80 elementary and junior high school students and their guardians participated on the event day. The experience booths allowed participants to feel the appeal of KOSEN, and the individual consultation corner provided an opportunity to resolve doubts and concerns about KOSEN. Furthermore, a school explanation by Tsuyama KOSEN Principal Sato, along with entrance exam preparation and problem explanations by faculty and KOSEN graduates, were conducted in the presentation corner, introducing the characteristics and appeal of KOSEN as well as preparation for entrance exams.

As a first-time initiative this time, the event was held in the same venue as the "Internship Company Information Session for KOSEN Students" (organized by Rita Inc., with 200 students and 40 companies participating). This provided an opportunity for elementary and junior high school students and their parents participating in this event to observe the company information session and see the real situation of how KOSEN students are expected by companies. The elementary and junior high school students, along with their parents, were seen browsing the company information session area with great interest.

◆ About Tsuyama National College of Technology

Tsuyama National College of Technology was founded in 1963 as a higher education institution to train practical and creative engineers. In response to changes in the industrial structure and to build an educational and research system that meets societal needs, the four existing specialized departments were reorganized and integrated into a single department, "Department of General Science and Engineering," in fiscal year 2016. The undergraduate program consists of one department with four courses (Advanced Science Course, Mechanical Systems Course, Electrical and Electronic Systems Course, and Information Systems Course), providing a five-year integrated education to train highly skilled engineers with both practicality and creativity.
