(Headquarters: Minoh-shi, Osaka; President and CEO: Toyomichi Kokaji; hereinafter 'Kokaji') has implemented the next-generation wallet 'TwooCa'*1 to improve the convenience of employee benefits and enhance business efficiency.

Amidst continuing price hikes, the initiative of a 'third wage hike' to increase 'real disposable income' is gaining traction, primarily among small and medium-sized enterprises. As part of this new effort, Kokaji has introduced 'TwooCa,' which utilizes electronic money*2.

Background of Implementation Previously, Kokaji operated a welfare benefits system aimed at improving employee satisfaction, but faced challenges such as an increased workload for back-office staff and low utilization rates among employees. In particular, the manual nature of the system's operation created hurdles, preventing the full value of the welfare benefits from being realized.

Furthermore, in a social environment where cashless payments are becoming more prevalent, the company felt the need to digitize its welfare benefits and was searching for a more convenient operational method.

It was in this context that they encountered 'TwooCa,' a service that integrates payment functions with welfare benefit features, and decided to implement it.

Initiatives with TwooCa Implementation Kokaji has now launched an in-house campaign (point-granting measure) utilizing the electronic money provided by our company. This measure grants points, exchangeable for electronic money issued by our company, to employees for their efforts in improving the workplace environment and self-development.

Employees can use the granted electronic money for convenient cashless payments at merchants that accept international brand cards, such as convenience stores. What is TwooCa TwooCa is the collective name for the various services provided by our company. The main services are offered through the TwooCa app, which features an employee/member ID card with an international brand card payment function. The payment card linked to the app is prepaid, making it available to all employees and members (limited to residents of Japan). It can also be used for expense reimbursements and money transfers between employees/members.
