Kort Valuta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hideki Shibata, hereinafter "Our Company") announces that Kanto Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Teruki Tamahara, hereinafter "Kanto Tsushin Kogyo") has introduced the next-generation wallet "TwooCa" as a new initiative utilizing electronic money, with the aim of promoting health management and improving work engagement.

Background

Kanto Tsushin Kogyo has been considering new internal measures, driven by challenges such as efficient management and operation of employee ID cards, enhancing employee sense of belonging, and improving welfare benefits. Furthermore, emphasizing the creation of an environment where each employee can work healthily and positively, they have positioned the improvement of work engagement as a key management theme. In this context, while considering the introduction of digital employee IDs and new initiatives that lead to improved employee engagement, our service "TwooCa" was evaluated for its functionality and scalability, leading to its adoption.

Overview

In this introduction, in addition to employee IDs, they will launch an in-house campaign (point granting initiative) utilizing electronic money provided by our company. This initiative grants employees points exchangeable for electronic money issued by our company, in recognition of their efforts towards improving their work environment and self-growth. In this initiative, actions such as "viewing health-related announcements" are designated as items for point granting, designed for natural participation within daily work.

The electronic money granted on the TwooCa app can be used for payments at merchants accepting international brand cards and can be used from 1 yen, allowing it to be used in daily life, such as at convenience stores, just like cash. This is characterized by its ability to lead to employees' so-called "third wage increase," or "actual disposable income improvement," through the utilization of electronic money*.

Furthermore, this initiative will be operated based on a one-year plan, and with our company's continuous support, an improvement in employee satisfaction is expected.

* Employees should note that granted electronic money may be treated as miscellaneous income or temporary income, etc.

Amidst continued price increases, the initiative of a "third wage increase" is attracting attention, particularly from the media. TwooCa is expected to support the actual disposable income improvement of employees through its electronic money utilization features, while also contributing to improved employee satisfaction (ES) and reduced turnover rates.

Our initiative was featured on TOKYO MX News as an effort to "improve actual disposable income" utilizing electronic money. ▶ Content here
