Kort Valuta Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hideki Shibata; hereinafter "the Company") announces that Kanto Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Terumoto Tamahara; hereinafter "Kanto Tsushin Kogyo") has introduced the next-generation wallet "TwooCa" as a new initiative utilizing e-money to promote health management and improve work engagement.

■Background
Kanto Tsushin Kogyo had been considering new internal measures driven by challenges such as the efficient management and operation of employee IDs, enhancing employees' sense of belonging, and enriching welfare benefits.
Furthermore, they place importance on creating an environment where every employee can work positively and in good health, positioning the improvement of work engagement as a key management theme.

Under these circumstances, while exploring the introduction of digital employee IDs and new initiatives that lead to higher employee engagement, they highly evaluated the functionality and scalability of our service, "TwooCa," leading to its adoption.

■Overview
With this implementation, in addition to the employee ID function, an internal campaign (point reward program) utilizing the e-money provided by the Company will commence. This initiative awards employees points, which can be exchanged for our e-money, in recognition of their efforts to improve the workplace environment or for self-growth.
In this project, actions such as "viewing health-related notices" are set as reward criteria, designed so employees can naturally participate during their daily tasks.

The e-money credited to the TwooCa app can be used for payments at international brand card merchants. Since it can be used from as little as 1 yen, it feels just like cash in daily life, such as at convenience stores. A key feature is that the use of e-money leads to what is called a "third wage increase" for employees, meaning an "effective increase in take-home pay"*.
Additionally, this measure will operate under a year-long plan, and with continuous support from the Company, it is expected to enhance employee satisfaction.
*Please note that for employees, the received e-money may be treated as miscellaneous income or temporary income for tax purposes.

Amid persistent high prices, the concept of a "third wage increase" has been garnering attention, particularly in the media. TwooCa is expected to support an effective increase in employees' take-home pay through its e-money features, while also contributing to improved employee satisfaction (ES) and lower turnover rates.
