Corona World Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Yoshitaka Murohashi) is pleased to announce that its integrated amusement facility, Anjo Corona World (Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture), will undergo a complete renovation to commemorate its 30th anniversary and will hold its Phase 1 grand reopening on July 17, 2026 (Fri).

Anjo Corona World has operated as a "hub for play information," offering a wide range of entertainment including a movie theater, natural hot springs, bowling alley, amusement arcade, pachinko and slots, and various restaurants. Supported by the local community, we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year. To further enhance our commitment to the daily lives of our community and provide even greater joy through play, we will hold our Phase 1 grand reopening on July 17, 2026 (Fri).

With the concept, "The excitement of yesteryear remains, and today becomes even more special," we are introducing a host of new features to enrich and invigorate the leisure time of our local community. These include a complete renovation of the movie theater lobby with the introduction of the latest seating, the first opening in the Mikawa area of the popular gourmet "Go! Go! Curry," and the new opening of "Karaoke JOYJOY," boasting the region's largest entertainment facilities. Furthermore, we plan to update "Anjo Corona no Yu" natural hot springs and "Corona Cat Bowl" bowling as part of our Phase 2 renovation around Autumn 2026, so please look forward to it.

[1] Exterior Renovation: A New Face for "An-Koro" Befitting its 30th Anniversary

The exterior of "An-Koro," beloved by Anjo citizens for 30 years, will be dramatically transformed with this renovation. While respecting its familiar appearance, the design will be refreshed to be bright and modern. The nighttime illumination will also be renewed, creating a new landmark for Anjo that uplifts visitors' spirits both day and night.

The exterior refresh is more than just a visual change. It aims to send a message throughout the town that "a new An-Koro has begun," creating a facility that both first-time visitors and long-time patrons will want to revisit and explore.

[2] CINEMA WORLD: Complete Renovation to Elevate the Movie Experience to "Beyond the Ordinary"

Movie theaters are symbols of entertainment. Anjo Corona World's cinema will be reborn as the "face" of this 30th-anniversary renovation, integrating space, equipment, and service.

The existing lobby will be completely transformed into a bright, sophisticated, and open space. The design will evoke a sense of "beyond the ordinary" even before watching a movie, aiming to create an atmosphere where all visitors feel that "movies are truly special."

▶ Significant Improvement in Food Ordering Convenience

Introduction of Food Self-Order Machines and Mobile Ordering: Orders can be smoothly placed using newly installed dedicated terminals or your own smartphone. Order your favorite food and drinks without waiting in line, making your pre-movie time significantly more comfortable.

Drink Bar Installation: Enjoy self-service unlimited drinks before or after your movie.

▶ Seat Upgrade (Selected Screens)

All seats in selected screens will feature "double armrest seats." Each seat has armrests on both sides, eliminating the need to share armrests with the person next to you. This ensures a relaxed viewing environment, even for long movies exceeding two hours.

▶ New Experience "Jushin Theater" Renovation

The popular "Jushin Theater" (literally "heavy vibration theater") has been renovated. This theater allows you to experience powerful low-frequency sounds that shake your soul during scenes like explosions and car chases.
