The popular performance series featuring highlights from classic ballet masterpieces, "Summer Vacation Ballet Festival for Parents and Children - National Ballet of Ukraine (formerly Kiev Ballet) -" will be held from July to August 2026. General ticket sales will begin on Friday, March 27, 2026.

This performance is structured to allow audiences to enjoy famous scenes from classic ballet masterpieces all at once, including "Don Quixote," "Le Corsaire," "The Dying Swan," and "The Fairy Doll." To ensure that first-time viewers and children can easily follow along, the performance will include fun commentary by an MC. This program, which condenses the charm of these masterpieces, offers a rewarding experience for both newcomers and seasoned ballet fans. The performance features the prestigious National Ballet of Ukraine, based in the historic city of Kyiv. Talented soloists who carry on the authentic classical ballet style along with their long-standing traditions will showcase an elegant and spectacular stage.

Furthermore, this year's performance will feature popular ballet dancers Yamakai (Kaito Yamamoto) and Nerea Baron from the YouTube channel "Yamakai TV" as MCs. They will guide the audience into the world of ballet by explaining the plots and highlights of the works in an easy-to-understand and sometimes humorous manner.

This series began in 2006, at a time when there were few ballet performances that could be enjoyed with preschool children. Since then, it has become a popular event, cherished by many as an "authentic ballet performance enjoyable from age 4," and this will mark its 17th iteration.
