Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announces the launch of a special website today to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the familiar cheat code "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA," which falls on Saturday, April 25th.

The "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" code is a widely known cheat code, even among non-game fans, and was first implemented in the Family Computer (FC) game "Gradius," released on April 25, 1986. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, 98 songs from 6 retro game titles, including FC "Gradius," are now available for download and streaming services starting today. Please check each distribution site for details on the distributed content.

Additionally, 40th-anniversary design T-shirts are now available for purchase starting today on Amazon's on-demand print service, "Merch on Demand." The designs feature motifs such as the cheat code "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" and the FC "Gradius" 40th-anniversary logo, offering designs that game fans can enjoy in their daily lives.

Furthermore, as part of the 40th-anniversary project, the implementation of this cheat code has been decided for the "PROJECT ZIRCON" game (trial version), which is currently under production.
