Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. will launch the "Daiichi Gakuin High School eSports Online Course" in April 2027 at the KONAMI eSports Academy, allowing students to learn eSports online while attending a Daiichi Gakuin High School campus. This course allows students enrolled in the "Basic Course (up to 2 school days a week)," "Standard Course (up to 5 school days a week)," and "Premium Course (up to 5 school days a week)" to take online eSports classes in addition to their regular studies at their nearest local campus. Furthermore, students who choose "Mobile HighSchool" can primarily focus on report-based study at home while taking these online classes as well. In comprehensive selection admissions for universities and job interviews, it is said that "things you put effort into during your student days" (often referred to as 'Gakuchika' in Japan) are highly important. Through practical learning via eSports and gaming, this course enables students to shape their strengths and experiences, preparing them for higher education and employment.
