Student AI Contest Held for 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel'! Special Program Covering the 6-Month AI Development and Final Battle Released Today!

Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announces that a special program closely following the student AI contest for 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel', titled 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel AI Contest', has been released on the YouTube 'Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Channel'.

This contest, held for the first time, is aimed at students who develop duel AIs (programs) for the digital card game 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel' and compete through duels between these AIs. Conducted as a team competition with 3 members per team, a total of 24 students across 8 teams gathered from nationwide universities (Kindai University, Keio University, Chiba Institute of Technology, The University of Electro-Communications, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo University of Science, and National Institute of Technology, Matsue College) participated.

In the special program 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel AI Contest' released today, viewers can enjoy watching how all 8 teams spent six months creating their duel AIs, their intensive training camps, and the final battle.
