Intense Heat Countermeasures: "FREEZETECH Hyo-geki" Collaboration Items Expanded, Sequentially Released from May 16 (Sat)

Konaka-Futata, operated by Konaka Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and CEO: Kensuke Konaka), successfully launched business shirts featuring "Hyo-geki Cooling Print®," the cooling technology from the "FREEZETECH" brand by Liberta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Toru Sato) in June 2025, receiving tremendous acclaim.

In 2026, in addition to business shirts, four new items—business slacks, business casual T-shirts, and handkerchiefs—will be added, with sequential releases starting May 16 (Saturday) at all Konaka-Futata stores.

Japan's Increasingly Serious "Heat" Countermeasures

In recent years, Japan's summers have seen record-breaking high temperatures, and the Japan Meteorological Agency reports an increasing trend in the number of scorching hot days (35℃ or higher). In 2025, temperatures nationwide exceeded average levels, and in urban areas, the impact of the heat island phenomenon further exacerbated the perceived temperature, creating even harsher conditions.

In such an environment, the physical burden on business professionals due to heat during commutes and outdoor work is increasing year by year. "Heat countermeasures" are no longer just about improving comfort but have become a crucial issue from the perspective of productivity and health maintenance.

What is "FREEZETECH Hyo-geki Cooling Print"?

It is a high-performance cooling wear and gear developed by Liberta Co., Ltd., which provides surprising and sustained cooling with sweat and wind (*1). When the printed surface on the back of the fabric comes into contact with moisture (sweat), the fabric temperature drops due to its endothermic properties (*2), and receiving wind further enhances the cooling sensation, making it suitable for work and sports in intense heat.
