Komoro Distillery "Cherry Blossom Festival" Announcement

In conjunction with the "Cherry Blossom Festival" at Komoro Castle Ruins Kaikoen, selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots, Komoro Distillery will hold its "Cherry Blossom Festival" from Wednesday, April 1st to Sunday, April 26th. When you visit Kaikoen for cherry blossom viewing, please extend your trip to the distillery, and when you come to Komoro Distillery, please also visit the cherry blossoms at Kaikoen, and leisurely enjoy the unique spring charm of Komoro.

**Special Experiences Available Only During the Period**

At Komoro Distillery, we not only focus on whisky production but also aim to make whisky more accessible for many customers to enjoy, offering various experience plans at our attached Visitor Center. During the festival period, each plan will be refreshed, allowing you to enjoy seasonal experiences.

**KOMORO ACADEMY: WHISKY & COCKTAILS** WHISKY & COCKTAILS is part of "WHISKY ACADEMY," an experiential seminar where you can learn about whisky from various perspectives. Here, professional bartenders will guide you through the world of whisky cocktail making. You can experience the delicate techniques and tool handling unique to professionals, and the refined skills of bartenders up close, witnessing the process of creating the finest drink. During the period, you will create a vibrant "Sakura Whisky Sour." This drink blends the robustness of whisky with the delicate aroma of cherry blossoms. Please enjoy the arrival of spring with techniques directly taught by professionals.

**KOMORO EXPERIENCE** In KOMORO EXPERIENCE, where you can spend your time at your own pace, a special cherry blossom-themed welcome cocktail will be available for a limited time. Please enjoy the refreshing "Sakura Blooming Highball," which is based on new make (unaged whisky spirit) infused with cherry blossom flavor.

**KOMORO EXPERIENCE+** In KOMORO EXPERIENCE+, where you can enjoy Komoro Distillery more deeply with a small-group production tour and special whisky new make tasting, the pairing sweets for the tasting will be a limited-time item. Please enjoy the pairing with whisky new make unique to this season.

**New Born -SAKURA CASK- (Whisky new make aged less than 3 years) x SAKURA YOKAN AU CHOCOLAT** ¥1,500 (tax included) We have prepared a pairing set at the bar: a special new born whisky infused with the scent of cherry blossoms, "NEW BORN -SAKURA CASK-", and a limited-time cherry blossom yokan with new make, "SAKURA YOKAN AU CHOCOLAT." "SAKURA YOKAN AU CHOCOLAT" is a specially arranged version of our popular "Yokan au Chocolat," and when paired with the new born, the cherry blossom flavor is further enhanced, filling your mouth with spring. "SAKURA YOKAN AU CHOCOLAT" can also be purchased at the SHOP.

Komoro Castle Ruins Kaikoen is located right next to Komoro Station on the JR Koumi Line / Shinano Railway, and the Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from Wednesday, April 1st to Saturday, April 25th.

Komoro Distillery is a 10-minute drive from Komoro Station. Free shuttle service to Komoro Distillery will also be operating during the special event period. Please check our website for updated details.

Additionally, the "Komoro Sightseeing Bus" (all-you-can-ride for 500 yen per day), which started operating last November, is running as usual, allowing you to combine your visit with surrounding attractions such as mountain views, wineries, and hot springs. Please use it on weekends and holidays.
