Wishing to remain a regional lifeline through home centers like "Komeri Power" and "Komeri Hard & Green", Komeri Co., Ltd. History
- 2004: The birthplace of Komeri was struck by the Niigata-Fukushima heavy rains (July 13 torrential rain) and the Mid Niigata Prefecture Earthquake. Rushing to restore stores and supply materials to disaster victims, the company keenly realized the importance of disaster countermeasures and the need for a wide-area, systematic mechanism.
- September 2005: Established the NPO Komeri Disaster Countermeasures Center.
- February 2006: Began concluding agreements with municipalities regarding material supply during disasters.
- March 2006: Began stockpiling materials at each Komeri distribution center.
- July 2007: Began supplying materials during disasters (Niigata Prefecture Chuetsu Offshore Earthquake).
- May 2010: Began supplying materials for livestock infectious disease epidemic prevention work (Foot-and-Mouth Disease, Miyazaki Prefecture).
- January 2023: Concluded the 1,000th agreement (Izunokuni City, Shizuoka Prefecture).
