Kokuyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) will open a shared office, "MOV KURAMAE," in Kuramae, Tokyo, in April 2026, after fully renovating a 28-year-old vacant building acquired in March 2025 in-house. Alongside this, the company has started accepting applications for office sections.
"MOV KURAMAE" is a shared office that renovated an 8-story office building, serving as the first project of Kokuyo's new "Real Estate Revitalization Business." In this business, Kokuyo aims to increase the value of real estate by consistently handling everything from acquisition to planning, renovation, and operation in-house.
To meet diverse needs, this property features office sections suitable for 1 to over 10 people, and shared spaces on multiple floors that can be used according to various scenes. The Kuramae area has been attracting attention with the continued opening of new manufacturing-style shops and restaurants. Through this property, we hope to create value as a place to work in the Kuramae area and further enhance the charm of the city.
1. About "MOV KURAMAE"
Kokuyo's new shared office that brings people closer to people, people closer to the city, and work closer to living.
At a time when workplaces and working styles are freely changing, we propose the option of "working with the city" in a way that is more authentic to oneself in Kuramae, an extension of daily life, rather than in a typical office district.
Immediate move-in Kokuyo furnished plans with access to various shared spaces
We have prepared five large and small plans for private areas that can accommodate from 1 to over 10 people. Drinks, snacks, Wi-Fi, and utility costs are included in the usage fee.
Shared spaces tailored to work scenes, impossible to realize in general rental offices
We have installed a cafe on the 1st floor, a spacious dedicated lounge on the 2nd floor, and multiple conference rooms for 4 to 10 people within the building, easily used for various scenes such as presentations to clients and social gatherings with business partners. Twelve individual web meeting rooms convenient for online meetings are also fully equipped.

2. About Logo and Spatial Design
(1) Logo Concept
The logo of "MOV KURAMAE" expresses that the activities taking place at MOV will expand over the land of Kuramae, and when capturing each letter of "MOV" as people and activities themselves, it represents how an assembly of various movements influence each other to form a rich space. (Logo design: YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO)
Additionally, a monument where the motion logo physically moves is installed at the entrance. The engineering studio "nomena," based in the same Taito Ward area as "MOV KURAMAE," was in charge of its design and production.
(2) Spatial Design Concept
Aiming for a workplace that feels like living, the spatial design re-edits the sequence of a residence into a single building. The 1st floor is designed as an open place connected to the city, the 2nd floor as a guest room-like space welcoming people, and from there, the space is planned to connect to the private areas on the upper floors. By bringing stayability to all areas including transit spaces, it is structured so that users can feel the entire building as a collection of their own whereabouts, without being bound by functions or leased sections. (Spatial design: YOHAK DESIGN STUDIO)
3. "MOV KURAMAE" Area Overview
(1) Floor Stacking
(2) Shared Areas
① CAFE "REFRESH STAND"
In the retail section on the 1st floor, LOBBEE Co., Ltd., which opened the house-roasted specialty coffee shop "WESTSIDE COFFEE" in Asakusabashi in 2020, will open a new business format, "REFRESH STAND." Centered around sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee, it will provide a special refreshment time for tenants, tourists, and local residents as a place where people and culture mix. In addition to food and beverage services, curated bookshelves that make you want to stand and read, and BGM played by records create a comfortable atmosphere with attention to detail everywhere. It is a place where diverse people come and go, encountering new relationships through small discoveries.
