KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City / President: Hidekuni Kuroda) announces that it will commence the second phase of its inter-industry consortium, '「 」 & WORKPLACE CONSORTIUM,' which accelerates cross-company co-creation and innovation, with a two-hub system in Tokyo and Osaka from late April. We will also hold initial kick-off events on April 24 (Friday) in Tokyo and May 28 (Thursday) in Osaka.
## 1. Overview of the Second Phase of '「 」 & WORKPLACE CONSORTIUM'
In recent years, amidst significant changes in the corporate environment, it has become increasingly difficult to generate new ideas and innovations solely within a single company. In light of this situation, the '「 」 & WORKPLACE CONSORTIUM' was launched as a platform for people and knowledge to intersect across company and industry boundaries, providing hints for creating new value starting from workplaces and work styles.
Based on activities developed with Tokyo as the center in 2025, in fiscal year 2026, a new Osaka base will be established, expanding to a two-hub system in Tokyo and Osaka. Each location is scheduled for a total of five activities, including outcome presentations.
Furthermore, to mark the start of the second phase, a kick-off event will be held to introduce the 2025 activity report and the new developments for 2026. On the day, in addition to an activity explanation, guest speakers will give lectures and participate in talk sessions, followed by an inter-industry networking event. The aim is to provide participating companies with an opportunity to generate new business ideas and establish cross-company connections.
