Produced Heatstroke Prevention Handbook for Preschoolers "Kōri no Power"

Kokubo Ice & Refrigeration Co., Ltd. (KOKUBO Group, Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, President & CEO: Toyoshi Sakai, hereinafter Kokubo Ice) has produced a booklet titled "Kōri no Power" (The Power of Ice) to foster understanding of heatstroke prevention and "ice" knowledge in a fun way for parents and children, as part of its community and social contribution initiatives. The booklet will be distributed to nursery schools, kindergartens, and children's centers in Yachiyo City, Funabashi City, and Chiba City (excluding some areas) in Chiba Prefecture. Furthermore, on July 2 (Thu), a donation of booklets and ice will be made to Chiba Shirayuri Kindergarten, where an experiential learning session involving explanations about ice and hands-on activities is planned.

● "Kōri no Power" Handbook Overview

"Kōri no Power" is a booklet that teaches about heatstroke prevention and countermeasures along with knowledge about ice. It is designed to be enjoyable and educational for children, whether they are reading it alone or with their parents.

Kokubo Ice began producing the booklet in fiscal year 2024 and continues to conduct awareness activities on heatstroke prevention for preschoolers. Additionally, a simple web survey on heatstroke prevention will be conducted concurrently with the handbook distribution, offering a chance to win a 1,000 yen Amazon gift card for 50 lucky winners.
