Yachiyo City Elementary and Junior High Schools Supported by the "Cooling Power" of "Ice"

Kokubo Ice Refrigeration Co., Ltd. (KOKUBO Group, Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, President Toyoshi Sakai, hereinafter Kokubo Ice Refrigeration) will begin distributing "Kotsubu ROCK® 300g" as a measure against heatstroke to all 31 Yachiyo City elementary schools, junior high schools, and schools for compulsory education starting July 1, 2026. We will support children who work hard in their studies and sports even in the hot summer through enlightenment activities on heat countermeasures using ice. Additionally, a "Presentation Ceremony" will be held on July 7 (Tue.) at Yachiyo City Katsutadai Elementary School, attended by student representatives and representatives from Kokubo Ice Refrigeration.

● About the "Rock Ice®" Distribution Activity

In an environment where heat and countermeasures against it are becoming a social issue, we began this distribution activity in 2020 with the desire to support children facing the hot summer as much as possible. In 2026, we will continue this initiative to support children in getting through the hot summer with the "cooling power" of Rock Ice.
