Kyushu Kokubo Co., Ltd. will begin distributing 'Kotsubu ROCK 300g' to all 30 elementary and junior high schools in Hita City starting in June 2026 as a heatstroke countermeasure. Through promoting heat countermeasures using ice, the company supports children working hard in their studies and sports during the hot summer. Since 2020, the company has partnered with the Hita City Board of Education to implement these measures. The initiative will continue in fiscal 2026 to help children get through the hot summer with the 'cooling power' of Rock Ice. The distribution period is scheduled from June 1st to early October, with a total volume of approximately 10,000 bags.
