Background of Organizational Restructuring: From Individual Support to Social Infrastructure

Having operated as the "Kokoro-ya Counseling Association" until March 31, 2026, our organization has changed its name to the "Japan Psychological Counselor Support Organization" as of April 1, 2026, and is restarting under a new structure.

Building upon the expertise in refining one's "state of mind" (kokoro no arikata) cultivated through our activities to date, we aim to build a "sustainable mental health infrastructure" where consultants can connect with counselors with peace of mind. We are moving away from reliance on a single charismatic figure or specific methodology, and instead, as an organization, we will support a diverse range of counselors.

Launch of the New Portal Site: 'Kokoro no Arikata Counseling (Counseling Portal for Concerns)'

Accompanying the name change, we have launched a portal site as a new hub for information dissemination.

We aim to give back to society by providing an experience where simply reading these responses helps lighten the heart.

Counselor Search that Reveals "Personality": We visualize not only qualifications and backgrounds but also the counselors' own personal philosophies and areas of expertise. This allows you to find the perfect "mental companion" for yourself.

Information as a "Third Place": We will provide daily updates on columns and news that serve as a "third place"—a space that is neither home nor the workplace, where you can be your true self.

"We want to make counseling more accessible and a standard option in daily life. With this desire in our hearts, we have united under a new structure led by four representative directors and have carried out a rebranding of this organization.
