Koikeya Launches 'Freshly Fried Direct Delivery: Nagasaki Kogane' with Rare Brand Potato – Available for Pre-Order on Online Shop!

Koikeya Co., Ltd. (President: Akira Sato) will begin taking pre-orders on June 15, 2026 (Monday) for two new products in its online-exclusive 'Freshly Fried Direct Delivery' series: 'Freshly Fried Direct Delivery: Nagasaki Kogane Thin Salt Flavor' and 'Kyushu Soy Sauce Flavor,' both made with the rare, branded 'Nagasaki Kogane' potatoes from Nagasaki Prefecture. The products will be available exclusively on the Koikeya Online Shop.

The 'Freshly Fried Direct Delivery' series, available only through the Koikeya Online Shop, is designed to deliver the fresh, just-fried taste typically enjoyed only at factories straight to consumers' homes. The series has already surpassed 9.7 million servings shipped and continues to receive strong customer support.

This time, to allow customers to enjoy the authentic charm of premium branded potatoes in their freshly fried state, Koikeya is introducing the rare 'Nagasaki Kogane' variety from Nagasaki Prefecture as a new addition to the lineup.

'Nagasaki Kogane' is a potato variety developed in Nagasaki Prefecture, inheriting the lineage of 'Inca no Mezame.' It is known for its vibrant golden flesh, creamy and fragrant aroma, and rich sweetness and umami. Due to limited harvest yields, it is recognized as a rare, high-end branded potato. Since 2022, Koikeya has been offering limited-quantity potato chips made with this variety, which have received consistent praise each year.
