Kodomo DX Promotion Association Establishes 'Child Portfolio Committee' and 'Proactive Childcare Support Committee'

The Kodomo DX Promotion Association announced the establishment of the 'Child Portfolio Committee' and the 'Proactive Childcare Support Committee.' These were selected through a public call for 'New Themes and Conference Bodies' started on December 18, 2025, aimed at revitalizing discussions, research, and policy advocacy related to Child DX.

## Child Portfolio Committee
Chair: Takayuki Furuya (Department Manager, Hitachi, Ltd.)

The 'Child Portfolio Committee' aims to realize a 'Child-Centered Society' by creating a system where children themselves can own and utilize diverse information—including administrative records (welfare, education, health), private sector records, and family memories—as 'life assets.'

### Message from the Chair
Information regarding children is fragmented across welfare, education, health, and private services, often underutilized due to institutional and sector barriers. Overcoming this fragmentation is essential for realizing a society that supports each child's growth.

Our committee seeks to enable children to proactively own and utilize a wide range of information, including administrative, private service, and family records, as their personal 'life assets.'

We are committed to working with all stakeholders to explore data utilization centered on children, contributing to a 'Child-Centered Society' by carefully identifying field challenges and data integration barriers through collaborative, staged deliberations.

## Proactive Childcare Support Committee
Chair: Nana Aizawa (CEO, iiba Inc.)

The 'Proactive Childcare Support Committee' seeks to build a system that delivers necessary childcare support to those who need it at the appropriate time, addressing the current reality where many families fail to receive support due to a lack of awareness or missed application deadlines.

### Message from the Chair
I am honored to serve as the Chair of the 'Proactive Childcare Support Committee' for the Kodomo DX Promotion Association.

Despite the increasing number of childcare support programs, many families still report that they 'did not know' about them or 'missed the application deadline,' meaning support is not reaching those who need it.

Our committee will promote the development of 'proactive' mechanisms—where support reaches families without the need for application—through policy advocacy, research, and awareness campaigns.

Together with committee members and relevant government agencies, I am fully committed to realizing a society where support reaches every family raising children.

Established in 2023, the Kodomo DX Promotion Association aims to conduct system standardization, research, and policy advocacy for Child DX. It serves as a 'collaborative platform' where governments, municipalities, public institutions, and businesses can cooperate through technology to effectively promote a 'Child-Centered Society.'
