Kaho Miyake

Born in Kochi Prefecture in 1994. Literary critic. Part-time lecturer at Kyoto City University of Arts. Completed the Master's program at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies (specializing in the Manyoshu). Debuted in 2017 with the publication of "50 Masterpieces That Will Ruin Your Life" during her graduate studies. In 2024, she received the Grand Prize for "Why Reading Books Becomes Difficult When You're Working" at the "Booksellers' Choice Non-Fiction Award 2024," and the following year, the Grand Prize for "New Book Award 2025." Other works include "How to Kill Your Mother?", "The Art of Verbalizing 'Likes': I Want to Talk About How Great My Favorite Is, But All I Can Say is 'Amazing!'", "What Do People Whose Stories Are Interesting Read?", "The Contemplating Youth", "The Secret of Writing Style: Why Do People Read Your Writing?", "New Japanese Literary History," and many others.
