JI BLUE's 12 Members on the July/August Extra and Special Editions of ViVi. A First in ViVi History with 'Connecting' Covers. Comes with a Special Photo Album.

The July/August issue of ViVi, on sale Friday, May 22, will feature 12 members of JI BLUE, a group born as the official ambassadors for the Japan national football team's 'The Best View in 2026' campaign. The covers of the extra issue and the special edition are designed to connect and form a single picture. Six members each, in offensive and defensive positions they chose themselves, will grace the covers as JI BLUE-DF ver. and JI BLUE-FW ver. In addition to a major 13-page feature inside, it also includes a special reversible photo album that can be cut out.

The 12 members are dressed in casual yet refreshing styles. During the shoot, they showed teamwork like a real team, happily eating pudding together during breaks, naturally falling into roles of 'boke' (funny man) and 'tsukkomi' (straight man), and teasing each other appropriately. While shooting the group shot of all 12, when the photographer said, 'You can relax a bit!', they naturally leaned on the member next to them or put their arms around each other. A natural shot taken the moment they struck a pose while relaxing was unexpectedly wonderful and was chosen for the cover.

The interviews include solo interviews where each member was asked about their recent hobbies and updates, as well as '3-person chemistry you can only see in JI BLUE' trio unit interviews. The three members of similar age, Nishi, Sato, and Takatsuka, bonded over stories of their soccer club days. Yonashiro, Shiroiwa, and Tajima, who naturally had a senior-junior vibe from their club days, made plans to go out for a meal after this talk. The three members from the Kansai region, Goto, Kawanishi, and Kinjo, showed off brilliant passing by taking turns being the funny man and the straight man. The trio of Kono, Sano, and Ikezaki got excited talking about how to handle unreasonable requests from their seniors. Additionally, a serious roundtable discussion was held on the theme 'If the 12 of them were a single soccer team.' They were asked to carefully consider not only their playing style but also their personalities and strengths to assign positions in a soccer formation, starting from deciding the coach.
