Kobunsha's literary division values "entertainment," as seen in Keigo Higashino's mysteries, Nanami Kamon's horrors, and Konko Shirakawa's character bunko series. While we attract a wide readership from their 20s to 60s, for the Creative Award, we are particularly targeting the younger demographic of 20s to 40s. Last year, Najimi Takatsu's "Poisonous Voice ~Case Files of Forensic Toxicologist Ietatsu Rui~" was selected for our media award. It is currently in diligent production for publication in July. We are looking for novels that are so surprising and enjoyable that readers forget the passage of time, truly "can't stop turning the pages," and possess the service spirit unique to new authors, along with powerful storytelling!
