Since 1988, Kobe Gakuin University has been offering the Green Festival free of charge in spring and autumn as an opportunity for local residents to experience various performing arts.

・2026 Wind Orchestra Competition Required Pieces

・Commissioned Work (Premiere)

・Haruka Inori no Sho (Book of Distant Prayers)

・Showa-Era Song Collection

◆ Admission: Free

◆ Participants: Open to everyone, including local residents.

This year's summer concert will feature the current year's competition required pieces and a premiere commissioned work in Part I. Part II will consist of pop songs that everyone has likely heard before. With many new members, the Kobe Gakuin University Wind Orchestra Club will deliver a sound unique to its upgraded ensemble.

[Green Festival Overview]

In the spring of 1988, the university's Memorial Hall, which seats approximately 700 people, was completed. Since then, the Green Festival has been held in this hall, featuring classical music, traditional Japanese performing arts, theater, films, and other artistic works. The events are planned by faculty members who specialize in each field, and the festival has continued for over 30 years as an important cultural activity of the university. Some student club performances are also part of this event. Admission is free. We invite you to spend a fulfilling time at our Memorial Hall. We look forward to your visit.

● From spring 2026, applications by reply postcard will be discontinued; only online applications will be accepted.

● Please use public transportation or nearby paid parking lots.

● Please refrain from parking at nearby stores. (Complaints have been received from neighboring businesses.)

● The performance may be canceled due to weather. In case of cancellation, it will be posted under 'Important Announcements' on the university's top page; please check the university website on the day.
