Kobe Gakuin University to Hold Public Lecture 'The Structure of Numbers in Our Daily Lives' on Saturday, June 6

Kobe Gakuin University will hold the 91st installment of its Saturday Public Lecture series, which has been providing learning opportunities to the local community since its inception in 1976. This event, conducted as part of the university's 60th-anniversary commemorative project, will feature a variety of lectures by faculty members from each department under the theme 'Our Daily Lives and Culture.'

Under the founding spirit of 'Love of Truth and Respect for Individuality,' the university has been offering Saturday Public Lectures since 1976 to return the results of its research and education to the local community. The first lecture was held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Faculty of Nutrition, and since fiscal year 1980, it has been held as the Kobe Gakuin University Saturday Public Lecture, subsequently taking place every spring and autumn.

The 2026 academic year Saturday Public Lecture, as a project commemorating the university's 60th anniversary, will feature faculty members from each department addressing topics of high contemporary interest from their specialized fields under the main theme 'Our Daily Lives and Culture.'
